Hey all. It’s the last week of September, which means festivals are near! Mid vacations for schools and colleges and moreover it’s DASARA time. What a joy to be in Mysore to watch those mighty elephants carrying the golden mandapa! It’s simply amazing. It is popular by name ‘JAMBO O SAVARI’. Every year peoples from all parts of the world visit Mysore, India to see this marvellous procession. So let me share you how the elephants are getting trained to make this year’s Dasara a grand success.  On the day of Dasara a huge, male elephant carries a golden mandapa of 750 kg with an idol of goddess ‘Chamundeshwari’ in it (earlier kings were taken instead of idol). The mandapa is famous by the name ‘ambari’. Along with this 11 other elephants follow him for the procession. The procession starts from Mysore palace to Bannimantap grounds after a royal pooja by the ‘Wodeyars of Mysore’. The jamb o o savari covers nearly 4.5 km. Decorated horses, camels, folk dancers performing street dance

Is there anyone in this world who does not love colourful birds freely flying in the blue sky? Is there anyone who does not admire the vivid butterflies on the scrub? I won’t think so I get anyone who hates animals to the fullest. All of us love one or the other animals either by watching them in natural parks or in zoos or by keeping them as a pet. Well, I love keeping pets at home; I have a dog and fish as my pets. I just love to play with them. Dogs, cats, love birds, budgerigars (budgies), doves, ornamental fish are some of the most loved pets. Among these dogs, cats and budgies are the most loved pets in this world. Today’s article is dedicated to all the pet lovers who love keep/have budgies as pets.   March 10 th , 2017, it was a well ordered Friday for me, board exams were near a
