EXHIBITION AT CFTRI MYSORE:PART I

Hello viewers! I am back with another exciting article this week. Yesterday I made a visit to CSIR-CFTRI Mysore where the latest technologies developed for food products were exhibited. So come and join me as I unfold the latest in food science and technology developed by CFTRI Mysore.  CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) in Mysore was established on 21 st of October 1950 for the development of food science and technology in India. So far 300 plus technologies have been established by the institute. There are 16 R&D departments and each one of them had exhibited their best. Greetings everyone! I guess all are back to work after a luxurious Dasara vacations and slowly munching on how we spent every single day of Navarathri festival. Navarathri is gone but the sweets made during the fests are still stored in refrigerators. No matter what, festival means fun  and sweets. Irrespective of any religion and country,In all our festivals we prepare sweets and use one thing in common, I think you might have already guessed what I mean! Yes, it’s the dairy products. Almost all the sweets we make, have milk or other dairy products in it. During Navarathri which means 9 days of festivals, every day different sweet dishes are prepared. The requirement of milk and its products are in a great demand during this season. So, I made a short visit to a dairy cooperative society in a nearby village during my Dasara vacation just to see how the milk is made to reach us from the primary producers. DASARA FLOWER SHOW AT KUKKARAHALLI LAKE

Dasara flower show at Kukkarahalli Lake Hi guys! Finally we are near to our world famous ‘Dasara festival’ and Mysore city is busy waiting for the grand celebrations. Only 3 more days to go and Mysore is beautifully dolled up with lights. How fascinating it is to watch this week's  vivid shows and exhibitions hosted in the city. The ‘Dasara exhibition’ has started already . ‘Dasara flower show’ at Kuppanna Park is attracting thousands of people just like bees swarming into a flower garden. ‘Dasara ornamental fish show’ held in J.K grounds was a big hit, ‘Open street festival’ held on Oct 13 th Saturday made all our youngsters go crazy, and on Sunday 14 th Oct a pet show was conducted too.
